Checklist for the outdoor swimming season

With the outdoor swimming pools opening, many of you are now waking your LILIAN from hibernation. To help you get back up and running quickly, here is a short list of things to ensure you can start taking measurements again straight away:

  • Please charge the LILIAN for at least 2 hours before use. The device may have completely discharged over the winter. The familiar charging animation should be visible on the LED ring. By ensuring the device is charged for a sufficiently long time, you can be sure that everything works as intended.
  • As a precaution, please replace the pump seals and check the springs in the shaft. Is everything as it should be?
  • Please check whether the latest software version is installed on your smartphone or tablet. Updates are usually automatic, but, for example, the supplied smartphone may not have been switched on for several months. Furthermore, in some versions, Android automatically removes app permissions if they have not been used for a few months. In this case, you will need to reset them. The app will usually ask for them automatically afterwards, but in rare cases it is necessary to set the permissions manually.

    If you receive an error message during the first measurement, you may need to update the device software. If you have any questions, please contact our support team or your LILIAN sales partner.
  • Please check the stock levels and expiry dates of the SensoSticks in advance. Most SensoSticks have a shelf life of 12 months. If the SensoSticks have expired, we recommend that you stop using them.
  • Is everything still the same as last year, or have there been any changes? Please check your settings in LILIAN Manager. In particular, ensure that all new employees are granted access to the measuring device.
  • What is the general condition of your measuring device? If you have been using the LILIAN for several years, please consider having the device serviced. You can order this from us or your LILIAN sales partner. We will then carry out the steps mentioned above and you will receive an additional year’s manufacturer’s warranty.
